Education

The Hokitika Museum’s Carnegie Building is closed for an extended period for earthquake strengthening. While this work takes place, public programmes onsite are on hold. At the Museum Research Centre, we can assist students working on research projects. We specialise in local history, and have a vast photograph collection, searchable archives, and we can make specific objects available for viewing. This service is available to students up to year 13 free of charge, temporarily by enquiry only. Contact us here.
